This Warehouse shirt that Kate Middleton bought for her honeymoon with Prince William. It cost about $100 USD and it’s gorgeous.

Kate is getting a lot of flack for shopping for her honeymoon on ‘**high street‘ and not having a personal stylist. I suppose now that she is days away from being royal the people want her to lose her ‘everygirl-ness’ and be a real princess.

**Shopping on ‘high street’ is British slang for mass market retail. Chain stores. Gap. Banana Republic. Zara. H&M.

I wasn’t really into the royal wedding circus, but the more I find out about Kate, the more I dig this chick. I’m not sure why the Brit’s are giving her such a hard time for being herself. She grew up normal …and she’s young so shopping at Jigsaw or Warehouse is just Kate being Kate.

I’m really loving the trend of our female world leaders making real fashion more legit.  Our First Lady shops at White House Black Market and JCrew regularly.

So now I’m lemming for this shirt and it’s not sold on the store’s website. I’m trying to get over my whole instant gratification thing so it’s really a good thing this isn’t sold in the U.S.
